- Calle Duarte #40 Esquina Calle Imbert Frente A La Biblioteca Publica Renovacion, Puerto Plata República Dominicana
The town of Imbert is located in the center of Puerto Plata province, and its origins are tied to the development of the country’s railway system during the government of Ulises Heureaux.
One of its attractions is the 27 Waterfalls of La Damajagua, along with its unique local cuisine, such as the famous Geos cheeses and Melao candies.
Another characteristic product of the area is petrified wood crafts. A group of local artisans collaboratively creates a wide variety of objects and designs inspired by Taíno craftsmanship, animals, and religious themes. The raw material can only be found in this region.
